Chatham Central is  a perfect 5-0 against Seaforth since March of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Bears will be playing at home against the Hawks  at 6:00  p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Seaforth will be up against a hot Chatham Central  team: the  squad just extended their winning streak to three. Everything went the Bears' way against Jordan-Matthews on Wednesday as they made off with  a  13-1 win.
 Maddie Kaczmarczyk made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   not allowing a single  earned run and  allowing only two  hits while striking out seven over five innings pitched. Kaczmarczyk was also big at the plate,  going 1-for-3 with two  RBI and one  double.

 In other batting news, Chatham Central got a  massive  performance out of  Sallie Oldham, who  got on base  in all four of her plate appearances with three  runs, one  triple,  and one  RBI. Oldham has been hot recently, having  posted  at least one  triple the last three times she's  played. Another player making a difference was  Maeson Smith, who  scored three  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-3.
Meanwhile, Seaforth made easy work of Bartlett Yancey  on Wednesday and carried off  a  23-6 victory. Winning may never get old, but the Hawks sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.
Like Chatham Central, Seaforth also got a great game from a two-way player:  Emma Grace Hill. She  struck out six batters over  two innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit (and not a single walk). Hill was also stellar in the batter's box,  scoring three  runs and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in four of her five plate appearances.
 In other batting news,  Alyssa Harris was a standout: she went a perfect 3-for-3 with one  home run, six  RBI,  and three  runs. Those  three  runs gave  her a new career-high.  Emma Stong was another key player,  going 3-for-4 with five  RBI, two  runs,  and one  stolen base.
 Seaforth was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .464. They are  a perfect 6-0 when  they post a batting average of .375 or better.
 Chatham Central's win bumped their record up to 13-2. As for Seaforth, their victory bumped their record up to 8-5.
Thursday's   game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Chatham Central hasn't had any issues making contact this season,  having earned a batting average of .414. However, it's not like Seaforth struggles in that department as   they've  averaged .366. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
 Everything went Chatham Central's way against Seaforth in their previous matchup  back in March, as Chatham Central made off with  a  19-1 win. Will the Bears repeat their success,  or do  the Hawks have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
