Jackson Christian's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Austin Kelley, who threw for 200 yards and two touchdowns. 105 of those passing yards were hauled in by Carlos Roberson, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.
Trinity Christian Academy moved to 6-4 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Jackson Christian, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 9-1.
