There's no place like home for the Pineywoods Community Academy Timberwolves, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Friday. They snuck past Huntington with a 55-51 win on Tuesday. For Pineywoods Community Academy, this counts as revenge for the 50-48 loss the Red Devils walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January.
Jaziel Reyes was his usual excellent self, scoring 21 points along with five rebounds. Zeke Shepherd was another key contributor, scoring 15 points.
Pineywoods Community Academy's win bumped their record up to 11-17. As for Huntington, their loss dropped their record down to 9-20.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pineywoods Community Academy will square off against the Hornets at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Huntington, they will head out on the road to square off against the Lumberjacks at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Diboll focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 on Tuesday.
