Warhill is 2-8 against Jamestown since February of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Warhill Lions will be staying on the road to face off against the Jamestown Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on January 22nd. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Virginia (Warhill is ranked 250th, while Jamestown is ranked 262nd).
Last Friday, things could have been worse for Warhill, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 51-36 loss to York.
Jamestown posted their biggest victory yet this season on Friday. They breezed by Poquoson at home to the tune of 69-41. The win made it back-to-back wins for Jamestown.
Warhill has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost seven of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season. As for Jamestown, their win bumped their record up to 6-7.
Warhill beat Jamestown 56-46 in their previous meeting back in December of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for Warhill since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
