It was a good run, but the Exeter-Milligan/Friend Bobcats unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a serious blow against Thayer Central, falling 56-18. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Exeter-Milligan/Friend has scored all season.
Despite the defeat, Exeter-Milligan/Friend had strong showings from Savana Krupicka, who scored five points along with two steals, and Aniston Meints, who scored no points along with five rebounds. Krupicka hasn't dropped below two steals for four straight games.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Exeter-Milligan/Friend struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only three offensive rebounds. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Exeter-Milligan/Friend's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-7. As for Thayer Central, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 9-2.
