The Sioux City West Wolverines were the 75-58 winner over the Jefferson Yellowjackets when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. Sioux City West took a serious blow against Jefferson on Tuesday, falling 75-36. That's two games in a row now that Sioux City West has lost by exactly 39 points.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Jefferson to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jayden Calabro, who scored 25 points. The contest was Calabro's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Jordan Dewaele was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 17 points and 10 rebounds.
Sioux City West still hasn't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3. As for Jefferson, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sioux City West will square off against South Sioux City on December 14th. As for Jefferson, they will head out on the road to face off against Sergeant Bluff-Luton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
