That was a full 37.8% of Spring Valley's points, marking the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was CJ Joshua, who scored eight points along with eight rebounds.
Spring Valley struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only four offensive rebounds. They are 1-4 when they can't control their own glass like that.
Pharaoh Compton continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Arbor View, scoring 23 points along with two blocks. Compton is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as he's now posted two or more in the last nine games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jalen Dickel, who scored seven points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Spring Valley's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 3-12. As for Arbor View, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season.
Spring Valley will face off against Mojave at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Arbor View, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Liberty at 6:15 p.m.
