The Churchill Chargers scored first but ultimately less than the Carlson Marauders in their game on Friday. They took a 42-35 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Marauders. Churchill has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Carlson to victory, but perhaps none more so than Joe Krolak, who threw for 140 yards and four touchdowns, and also rushed for 125 yards. Another player making a difference was Izaiah Wright, who rushed for 157 yards and two touchdowns.
Churchill has not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season. As for Carlson, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-1.
Churchill does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Carlson will be playing in front of their home fans against Dexter at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Dexter is looking to tack on another W to their five-game streak on the road.
