Carpinteria (Calif.) extended its winning streak to five games with a 42-19 victory over
Santa Clara (Oxnard, Calif.) on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a touchdown run in the first quarter, the Warriors were up 28-6 at the half.
Carpinteria expanded its lead to 29 points entering the fourth quarter. CHS scored once in the quarter on a touchdown run by
Ian Craddock.
When the two teams played each other last season, the Warriors came away with a 42-0 victory.
