The Frankenmuth Eagles entered their tilt with the Birch Run Panthers with nine consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with ten. Frankenmuth took their game at home on Friday with ease, bagging a 64-10 victory over Birch Run. Considering Frankenmuth has won ten matchups by more than 24 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
It was another big night for Jack Rich, who rushed for 186 yards and three touchdowns on only nine carries, and also threw for 139 yards and two touchdowns while completing 71.4% of his passes. Rich hasn't dropped below 100 rushing yards for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Hunter Bernthal, who gained 139 total yards and two touchdowns.
Frankenmuth's win was their 12th straight at home (dating back to last season), bumping their overall record up to 10-1. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 47.8 points per game. As for Birch Run, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-5 record this season.
Frankenmuth's homestand continues as they prepare to take on Kingsford at 1:00 p.m. on November 11th. One thing working in Kingsford's favor is that they have now posted big point totals in their last six contests. Birch Run does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
