Given St. John Paul II Academy's advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 219th, while the Cougars are ranked 670th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Cristian Rosado continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 14 points. Rowan Linder was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
The victory makes it two in a row for St. John Paul II Academy and bumps their season record up to 12-10. As for Coconut Creek, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-18.
St. John Paul II Academy will take on the Cobras at TBD on Tuesday. As for Coconut Creek, they will face off against the Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
