Baseball Recap: Dedham Sets Scoring Season-High Against Millis

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Dedham). They came out on top against the Millis Mohawks by a score of 15-10 on Wednesday. The Marauders haven't had any issues with the Mohawks recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

The team relied heavily on Ryan Laughter, who went 3-for-5 with one home run, five RBI, and three runs. That home run marked the first that he has launched this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Edwin Rodriguez, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Dedham kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 4.4 hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 contests they've averaged 9.2.

Dedham's victory bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Millis, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.
