Loretto has gone 8-2 against Lawrence County recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Mustangs will welcome the Wildcats at 6:30 p.m. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Friday.
Loretto is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They blew past Richland 21-9 on Thursday. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since April 22, 2016, but that streak is no more.

Considering the Wildcats have won eight contests by more than nine runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Loretto's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-13. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.0 runs over those games. As for Lawrence County, their victory bumped their record up to 13-11.
Everything went Loretto's way against Lawrence County when the teams last played back in April of 2024, as Loretto made off with an 11-0 win. Do the Mustangs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Wildcats turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
