Lanier Posts Huge Game in 44-28 Defeat
Bloomington had to settle for second on Friday, but Rob Lanier sure wasn't going down easily. Lanier was dynamite, rushing for 94 yards and a touchdown.
If history really does repeat itself, Lanier might just drop another big game when he faces off against Centennial on Friday. Back in September of 2023 (the last time Lanier saw the Chargers), he rushed for 103 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries.

Keyontae Hamilton Turns in Season-Best Effort
Sadly, Keyontae Hamilton posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead Bloomington over Peoria on Friday. Hamilton picked up 107 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Hamilton and Bloomington will square off against Centennial at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Purple Raiders got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Chargers, probably because Hamilton had a solid game then too: he picked up 62 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 36 yards. Can he match (or beat) that performance?
