Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Scranton Prep). They really took it to the Jersey Shore Bulldogs for the full four quarters, racking up a 51-19 win. Considering the Cavaliers have won four games by more than 27 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Despite the loss, Jersey Shore saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Nolen Pauling rushed for 54 yards and one TD, and also threw for 180 yards while completing 71.4% of his passes.

Scranton Prep now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Jersey Shore, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Scranton Prep will welcome North Pocono at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Trojans' defense has only allowed 11.4 points per game this season, so the Cavaliers' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Jersey Shore, they will be playing at home against Central Mountain at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bulldogs will be up against the Wildcats' rather soft defense (which has allowed 38.22 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
