A well-balanced attack led the WestSide Renegades over the Mingo Central Miners in every quarter on their way to victory on Tuesday. WestSide took down Mingo Central 70-52. That result was just more of the same for these two, as WestSide also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2023.
WestSide's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Austin Bishop, who scored 19 points along with two steals. Another player making a difference was Kadien Vance, who scored 15 points along with nine rebounds.
WestSide is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. As for Mingo Central, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-8.
WestSide on the road again on Friday and play against Nicholas County at 7:00 p.m. on January 26th. Nicholas County is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 63.7 points per game. As for Mingo Central, they will be playing at home against Tolsia at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
