Basketball Recap: Isaac Henry's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Lutheran Northwest over Hazel Park

On Tuesday, the Lutheran Northwest Crusaders came up short against the Hazel Park Vikings and fell 55-47.

Several Crusaders players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Isaac Henry, who posted nine points and five assists. Another player making a difference was Calan Denne, who earned 11 points and seven boards.

Lutheran Northwest's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Hazel Park, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lutheran Northwest and Roeper will face off at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest having both just played. As for Hazel Park, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Clintondale at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
