Flagstaff is on a 11-game streak of home wins, while the Badgers are on a three-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Flagstaff Eagles will take on the Prescott Badgers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the pair will really light up the scoreboard.
Flagstaff can now show off 16 landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Tuesday. They took their game on the road with ease, bagging a 57-29 win over Coconino. Given Flagstaff's advantage in MaxPreps' Arizona basketball rankings (they are ranked 11th, while the Panthers are ranked 109th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, Prescott didn't have too much trouble with the Marauders on the road on Thursday as they won 70-55.
Bella Abt and Addie Prisciandaro were among the main playmakers for Prescott as the former dropped a double-double on 20 points and 15 rebounds and the latter scored 34 points along with four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Prisciandaro has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Rylee Hobson, who scored seven points along with eight assists.
Flagstaff is on a roll lately: they've won 17 of their last 18 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 23-4 record this season. As for Prescott, their win bumped their record up to 17-8.
