The Eisenhower Tigers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight defeat. They fell 51-42 to Andover Central. The match was a 20-20 toss-up at halftime, but Eisenhower couldn't quite close it out.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Andover Central to victory, but perhaps none more so than Hayden Snodgrass, who scored 17 points along with six rebounds and two steals. Snodgrass has been hot recently, having posted 17 or more points the last three times she's played. Avery Mason was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Eisenhower's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Andover Central, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-8.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Eisenhower will take on the Salthawks at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hutchinson is no doubt hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. As for Andover Central, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Kansas (Salina Central is ranked 135th, while the Jaguars are ranked 150th).
