Sky View had lost ten straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Saturday they dropped down to 1-5 to make it 11. They came up short against the Desert Hills Thunder, falling 13-3. The Bobcats were not able to make up for their defeat to the Thunder from their previous meeting back in March of 2021.
Sky View saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Isaac Daniels, who went 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
As for Desert Hills, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-1. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by eight runs or more this season.
On Desert Hills' side, Harmon Skeen and Maddux MacIntosh made a splash no matter where they played. Throwing, Skeen pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Meanwhile, MacIntosh didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. What's more, he posted five strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March of 2025. At bat, Skeen went 1-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI, while MacIntosh went a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI and one run.
In other batting news, Desert Hills let Roah Wall and Asher Williams run wild. Wall got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one triple, two RBI, and one run, while Williams went 3-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Boston Shaffer, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one run.
Looking ahead, Sky View will challenge Spanish Fork at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bobcats' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Dons have averaged an impressive 7.9 runs per game this season. Desert Hills has already played their next matchup (against Richfield), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
