Horizon Science Academy scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They blew past Cristo Rey, posting a 99-50 win on the road. That 49 points margin sets a new team best for Horizon Science Academy this season.
Horizon Science Academy had a senior duo take command as Roland Kargbo scored 20 points along with five assists and five steals and Solaiman Jalloh scored 20 points along with seven rebounds and seven steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Kargbo has scored all season. Regan Shozi was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with two steals.
Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, KIPP Columbus beat Northside Christian 50-46 on Saturday.
Horizon Science Academy's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-9. As for KIPP Columbus, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 5-4 record this season.
