Wendover's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Efren Delmuro, who scored 21 points. Delmuro set a new season high mark in points with 21. Another player making a difference was Raul Valle, who scored 19 points along with three steals.
When it comes to explaining why Rockwell lost, one person who can't be blamed is Luke Henderson. Despite the final result, he went 6 for 10 from beyond the arc en route to 31 points and 3 assists. The game was Henderson's fifth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Roman Haueter, who scored 13 points along with six rebounds.
Wendover's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Rockwell, they now have a losing record at 2-3.
Wendover will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Moapa Valley at 10:00 a.m. on December 9th. Moapa Valley is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
