Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Beach). They blew past the Groves Rebels 64-12  on Friday. The Bulldogs have beaten the Rebels the last five times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Rebels has come to flipping the script.
 Jayvion Williams was  his usual excellent self, throwing for 231 yards and four  touchdowns on only 11 passes.
 Beach didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Groves to a completion percentage of just 30.4%. The Bulldogs weren't nearly as limited: they posted one of 63.6%.
 Groves' loss came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Taff James, who rushed for 74 yards on only seven carries, and also caught one  score.  Kaleb Detty was another key player, throwing for 101 yards and a pair of  TDs.
Beach now  has a winning record of 4-3. As for Groves,  they are  on  a  14-game losing streak  (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.
 Beach wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next  game,  an  18-7  victory against Liberty County on the 24th. As for Groves, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  matchup,  a  48-8  defeat against Calvary Day on the 24th.
