The Tanalian Lynx posted their biggest win since January 12th on Saturday. They put the hurt on Koliganek with a sharp 44-20 victory. The score was all tied up 12-12 at the break, but Tanalian was the (much) better team in the second half.
Several Huskies players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kristin Tunguing, who scored eight points.
Tanalian has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season. As for Koliganek, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-5.
Tanalian's road trip will continue as they head out to face Chief Ivan Blunka at 4:00 p.m. on January 27th. Chief Ivan Blunka is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. Koliganek does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
