Cedar Creek suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Monday. They had to suffer through a rough 66-34 loss at the hands of Absegami. While losing is never fun, Cedar Creek can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 369th, while Absegami is ranked 160th).
Meanwhile, Atlantic City was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Monday as they fell 54-48 to Middle Township.
Cedar Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Atlantic City, their loss dropped their record down to 10-3.
Cedar Creek took a serious blow against Atlantic City when the teams last played back in December of 2023, falling 73-46. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Atlantic City's Khajuan Roseborough, who scored 20 points along with six assists and six rebounds.
