It was a good run, but the Faith Baptist School Falcons unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. They fell 62-52 to Chestertown Christian Academy. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Faith Baptist School has scored all season.
Despite the defeat, Faith Baptist School saw an underclassman step up: Eli Miller scored 30 points along with four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Miller has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Zach Miller, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds.
Faith Baptist School's defeat dropped their record down to 4-1. As for Chestertown Christian Academy, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-2.
Faith Baptist School will square off against Bayview Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Bayview Christian will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in their respective state's rankings (they are ranked 233rd in Delaware, while Faith Baptist School is ranked 19th in Maryland). As for Chestertown Christian Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Wye River at 4:30 p.m.
