Farmington had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They never let the Bloomfield Bobcats get on the board and left with a 4-0 victory. The four-run effort marked the Scorpions' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Farmington's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Bloomfield, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1.

Farmington has already played their next matchup, a 17-1 victory against Aztec on the 15th. As for Bloomfield, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 9-1 win against Kirtland Central on the 15th.
