Ginyard Made His Presence Known in Eastern's 40-15 Win
Starting off the list is Eastern's Daquan Ginyard, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Ginyard rushed for 217 yards. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 145 rushing yards dating back to last season.
Eastern has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. Ginyard's next contest is against Woodson on Friday, where he'll look to repeat that solid effort.

Big Game from Smith As Roosevelt Won 35-0
Roosevelt found a leader in Deyon Smith as the team took down Jackson-Reed on Saturday. Smith was dynamite, rushing for 51 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries, while also picking up 35 receiving yards.
Jackson-Reed's probably not too fond of Smith given he always seems to get the better of them. When Smith last faced the Tigers back in October of 2023, he rushed for 145 yards.

Jamal Gilmore Delivers Best Effort of Season
On Saturday, Roosevelt got the W thanks in part to Jamal Gilmore playing the best football he has all season. Gilmore picked up 106 receiving yards and a touchdown.
For the year, Gilmore has caught 4 touchdowns while averaging 57.3 receiving yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after six games last season, he was only averaging 4.67 receiving yards per game.

David Anderson Makes It Three for Roosevelt
Another Roosevelt player making an appearance on this list is David Anderson. He threw for 175 yards and three touchdowns on only 13 passes.
Anderson and Roosevelt will take on Dunbar at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Anderson will face off against Brosnan Dukes, the Crimson Tide's star signal caller. With so much talent on the field, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.
