 East Troy's got stronger as the match went on, holding Whitewater to fewer and fewer points set over set. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-15,  25-10.
Meanwhile, Lake Mills came up short against Waterloo on Saturday and fell  2-0.
 East Troy will have to contain  Tayte Crenshaw as she made an impact in Lake Mills' last game. She  had five  digs and two  aces.
 East Troy's win bumped their record up to 21-17. As for Lake Mills, their loss dropped their record down to 21-9.
 East Troy was able to grind out a solid  victory over Lake Mills when the teams last played  back in September of 2022, winning  2-0.
