West Carrollton has enjoyed a three-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will  face off against the Sidney Yellowjackets at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
 On Monday, it was a hard-fought  game, but West Carrollton had to settle for  a  6-5 defeat against Greenville. West Carrollton has not had much luck with Greenville recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
 Meanwhile, Sidney had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10 runs), and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They came out on top against the Red Devils by a score of  10-6. Sidney's win was all the more impressive since Tippecanoe was averaging only 3.2 runs allowed on the season.
  Mitchell Davis made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he  struck out nine batters over  5.1 innings while giving up just two earned  (and two unearned) runs off   four  hits. Davis was also big at the plate,  scoring two  runs.
 In other batting news,  Logan Davis and  Eli McKenzie did most of the damage at the plate:  Davis  got on base  in two of his four plate appearances with a  stolen base and two  RBI, while  McKenzie  scored two  runs while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was  Kade Swiger, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 1-for-3.
 West Carrollton's loss dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Sidney, they pushed their record up to 4-10 with that  victory, which was their third straight  on the road.
