The Spanish Fort Toros's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their third straight loss. They were the victim of a tough 64-39 defeat at the hands of Bryant. Spanish Fort was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Bryant apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2020.
Leading Bryant to victory were Madi-Marie Grayson and Mari-Margret Grayson. Grayson scored 23 points along with 4 steals, while Grayson scored 25 points along with 8 rebounds and 3 steals. That makes it seven consecutive games in which Grayson has scored at least 25% of Bryant's points.
Spanish Fort has not been sharp recently, as they've lost eight of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-10 record this season. As for Bryant, the win got them back to even at 5-5.
Spanish Fort will be playing in front of their home fans against Saraland at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Bryant is on the road again on December 12th and play against Moss Point at 6:00 p.m. on December 12th.
