Basketball Recap: Isaac Davidson Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Mize

McLaurin won the last time they faced Mize and things went their way on Tuesday too. The McLaurin Tigers were the clear victor by a 73-48 margin over the Mize Bulldogs. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 22 points or more this season.

McLaurin's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Isaac Davidson, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 12 boards. The dominant performance gave Davidson a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Michael Wallace, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 11 assists.

McLaurin smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in three consecutive matchups.

McLaurin's win bumped their record up to 11-2. As for Mize, they now have a losing record at 4-5.

McLaurin didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 56-50 victory against Wesson on the 13th. As for Mize, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 63-42 win against Raleigh on the 12th.
