The Effingham County Rebels will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against the Evans Knights at 7:00 p.m. Effingham County's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.
On Saturday, Effingham County was the victim of a tough 4-1 defeat at the hands of Calvary Day.
Meanwhile, Evans' game on Friday was all tied up 2-2 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They came out on top against Glynn Academy by a score of 4-2. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Evans.
They hit Glynn Academy with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from
Carson Whitener (2),
Calvin Dent, and
Jeremiah Sturkey.
Effingham County's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2-1. As for Evans, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.
