On Friday, Elida put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season. They took the matchup and then some with a 47-8 win over Floyd.
The victory bumped Elida's record up to 4-1. The defeat dropped Floyd's record to 1-2.
Next week Elida take on Roy/Mosquero at 1:00 PM. Elida are cruising in on a three-game winning streak while Roy/Mosquero are stumbling in off of four consecutive losses. As for Floyd, they will face off against Lake Arthur. Neither of those teams wants a repeat from their last game since each was dealt a considerable loss.
