The Karns Beavers pushed their score all the way to 59 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They suffered a rough 81-59 loss at the hands of Halls. Despite running the score up even higher than they did last Friday (55), Karns still had to take the loss.
Jake Lane continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Halls, scoring 26 points. The game was Lane's seventh in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Chandler Gamble, who scored 14 points along with nine rebounds.
Karns' defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Halls, the win got them back to even at 7-7.
Karns will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Farragut at 7:30 p.m. on January 5, 2024. Halls' road trip will continue as they head out to face Wren at 4:30 p.m. on December 28th. Wren has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 194 points over their last three matchups.
