Meanwhile, Lake George's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They fell just short of Fort Ann by a score of 34-32. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat Lake George has suffered yet this season.
Despite the loss, Lake George had strong showings from Mykah Collier-Fisher, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds, and Madyson Brennan, who scored eight points along with eight rebounds and four blocks. Collier-Fisher continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played.
Even though they lost, Lake George smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 29 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Schoharie bumped their record down to 2-10 with that loss, which was their ninth straight on the road. As for Lake George, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost nine of their last 11 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-12 record this season.
