 Riyahd McDonald was a one-man wrecking crew for Weequahic as he  dropped  a double-double on 19 points and 18  rebounds. The dominant performance gave  McDonald a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Tasir Barnes, who  posted 13  points in addition to five  boards and three  steals.
 Weequahic  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 13  offensive boards. That's the most  offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
 Meanwhile,  in a tight  game that could have gone either way, West Side made off with  a  70-69 victory over Newark Central.
 The  win  got West Side back to even at 2-2. As for Weequahic, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.
 Weequahic might still be hurting after the  81-55 loss they got from West Side  in their previous meeting  back in March of 2022. Can Weequahic avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
