They walked away with a 51-43 victory over Sheets Memorial Christian. For Oak Level Baptist Academy, this counts as revenge for the 66-62 loss Sheets Memorial Christian walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2023.
Sheets Memorial Christian lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Finn Everhart, who scored 14 points along with six rebounds and three steals. Everhart has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jude Howell, who scored 13 points along with three steals.
Oak Level Baptist Academy's win bumped their record up to 4-16. As for Sheets Memorial Christian, their defeat was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-13.
Oak Level Baptist Academy the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Noble Academy at 5:30 p.m. on January 29th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in North Carolina (Noble Academy is ranked 673rd, while Oak Level Baptist Academy is ranked 674th). As for Sheets Memorial Christian, they will head out on the road to challenge Fayetteville Street Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
