The Permian Panthers will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against the North Crowley Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on November 17th. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
With a playoff game on the line, Permian rose to the challenge on Friday. They came out on top against Pebble Hills by a score of 26-13. Given Permian's advantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 91st, while Pebble Hills is ranked 217th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
It was another big night for Juzstyce Lara, who rushed for 221 yards and two touchdowns. Lara is on a roll when it comes to rushing yards, as he's now rushed for 100 or more in the last seven games he's played.
Meanwhile, North Crowley put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They enjoyed a cozy 42-26 victory over Keller.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead North Crowley to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ashton Searl, who rushed for 149 yards and three touchdowns. Chris Jimerson was another key contributor, throwing for 165 yards and three touchdowns.
Permian is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. As for North Crowley, they pushed their record up to 11-0 with that victory, which was their sixth straight at home.
