The Sheridan Rams took care of business in their home opener on Wednesday (barely). They came out on top in a nail-biter against Denver Waldorf and snuck past 14-11.
Despite the defeat, Denver Waldorf saw an underclassman step up: Lara Gregory scored 4 points along with 4 steals.
Sheridan's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Denver Waldorf, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Sheridan will be playing at home against Lincoln at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Denver Waldorf, they will head out on the road to face off against Denver Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
