The Central Blue Devils put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Bard 70-37 on the road. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Central has managed all season.
It was another big night for Michael Anderson, who scored 20 points along with six steals and five assists. Those 20 points set a new season-high mark for him. Mejwad Dixon was another key contributor, scoring 20 points.
Central's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Bard, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Central will finish 2023 at home by hosting Science Park at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Bard will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on East Side Community at 1:00 p.m. on January 6, 2024.
