Taylor Hays Delivers Best Effort of Season
On Friday, Basalt got the W thanks in part to Taylor Hays playing the best football he has all season. Hays picked up 100 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 56 yards and two touchdowns. The effort marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in August of 2023. Grayson Isenhart continued his hot streak on Saturday by dropping his 16th-straight game (dating back to last season) with at least 13 total tackles. He picked up a sack and made 16 total tackles (1.5 for loss) in addition to snagging an interception.
If history really does repeat itself, Isenhart might just drop another big game when he faces off against Aspen on Friday. Isenhart forced a fumble and made 20 total tackles (2.0 for loss) the last time he and the Skiers duked it out back in September of 2023.
