Pace is on a five-game streak of home wins (dating back to last season), while Choctawhatchee is on a three-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Pace Patriots will host the Choctawhatchee Indians at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Choctawhatchee's offense is going to have their work cut out for them on Wednesday: Pace hadn't allowed a single point the last four times they've hit the field. Pace's defense stepped up to hand Tate a 26-0 shutout on Monday. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Patriots just coasted through the last quarter.

Amaya Pablo was her usual excellent self, throwing for 180 yards and three touchdowns, while also rushing for 33 yards. She has been hot recently, having posted three or more passing touchdowns the last three times she's played. Emily Good got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Pace's defense and their three sacks. Leading the way was Maci McGinnis with two. Good got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Meanwhile, everything went Choctawhatchee's way against Niceville on Tuesday as Choctawhatchee made off with a 27-6 victory. The win continues a trend for the Indians in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won five in a row.
Pace better keep an eye on Diaris Morales. She was instrumental in Choctawhatchee's win, throwing for 261 yards and one touchdown, while also punching in one touchdown on the ground. The dominant performance gave Morales a new career-high in passing yards.
Pace's victory bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Choctawhatchee, their win bumped their record up to 8-0.
Wednesday's match will pit two of the most dominant signal callers against one another: Pablo and Morales. Pablo just won't slow down this season and has thrown 24 touchdowns while averaging 183.3 passing yards per game. Morales has been a dominant force too and has thrown 14 touchdowns while averaging 192.2 passing yards per game.
Pace was dealt a bruising 31-0 defeat at the hands of Choctawhatchee in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Can Pace avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
