The Southern Alamance Patriots gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Graham 63-16 at home. The team accrued 51 points in the first half and coasted on those for the win.
Southern Alamance had a senior duo take command as Jordan Moore scored 17 points along with 6 steals and Liam Forester scored 16 points along with 8 rebounds and 3 steals. Tyler Moore was another key contributor, scoring 8 points along with 5 rebounds.
Southern Alamance's win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Graham, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Southern Alamance will head out on the road to face off against Grimsley at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Graham, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Bartlett Yancey at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Bartlett Yancey focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 last Wednesday.
