Oak Grove had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They never let West Blocton get on the board and left with  an   11-0  victory  on Friday. Oak Grove might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 16 games by six  runs or more this season.
Not much got past  Brody Black, who gave up just  three  hits and racked up 11 Ks to keep West Blocton off the board. Black has been consistent for a while: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in ten consecutive appearances.
 At the plate,  Dalton Troncalli was a standout: he went 3-for-4 with two  stolen bases, three  RBI,  and two  runs. That's the most  hits  he has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of  Wiley Hicks, who  got on base  in three of his five plate appearances with one  home run, three  runs,  and two  RBI.
The  win made it two in a row for Oak Grove and  bumps their season record up to 26-3. Those  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 12.5 runs over those games. As for West Blocton,  they are  on  a  nine-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 10-13.
 Looking ahead, Oak Grove will take on Satsuma on Friday. The two teams have allowed few  runs on average (the Tigers 2.6, the Gators 4.1) so any  runs scored will be well earned. West Blocton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
