Denson Posts Huge Game in 61-24 Win
Chris Denson put up the most rushing yards he's had since back in September of 2023 on Friday. He threw for 307 yards and four touchdowns while completing 72.2% of his passes, and also rushed for 101 yards and a touchdown on only six carries.
On the year, Denson has thrown ten touchdowns while averaging 228.7 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 11.67 rushing yards per game. This year he averaging 11.67 rushing yards.

Tariq Sapp Reaches New Rushing Milestone
Tariq Sapp posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He rushed for 110 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 80 yards.
Newsome's win ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-1. Sapp and Newsome will head out to challenge Sumner at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Joseph Glennon Posts Another Huge Game Against Sickles
Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Joseph Glennon stepped things up a notch to give Alonso the 'W'. Glennon made a splash, throwing for 172 yards and three touchdowns, while also rushing for 64 yards on only six carries. He was up against Sickles, which might explain his strong game: he put up some impressive numbers the last time he faced them back in September of 2023.
If history really does repeat itself, Glennon might just drop another big game when he faces off against Strawberry Crest on Friday. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Glennon saw the Chargers), he rushed for 101 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 258 yards and two touchdowns while completing 75.9% of his passes.
