White Knoll is 1-9 against North Augusta since April of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Timberwolves will look to defend their home field against the Yellow Jackets at 7:30 p.m. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with White Knoll sitting on three straight victories and North Augusta on four.
White Knoll barely beat Mid-Carolina the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Timberwolves never let the Rebels get on the board and left with a 10-0 win on Tuesday. Considering the Timberwolves have won eight matchups by more than nine runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
White Knoll got a great performance from Lexi Burkard as she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over five innings pitched. Burkard has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season.
