Last Friday, South Bend was beaten by Forks 90-19. South Bend has struggled against Forks recently, as their matchup on Friday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
Meanwhile, Ocosta ended up a good deal behind Willapa Valley on Monday and lost 50-33. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Ocosta has scored all season.
Despite the loss, Ocosta had strong showings from Kayden Turner, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds, and Noah Prigmore, who scored seven points along with five rebounds. Those ten rebounds set a new season-high mark for Turner.
South Bend's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Ocosta, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.
South Bend was dealt a bruising 66-39 defeat at the hands of Ocosta in their previous meeting back in January. Can South Bend avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
