After losing to the Dutchtown Bulldogs the last time they met, the Langston Hughes Panthers decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Everything went Langston Hughes' way against Dutchtown on Tuesday as Langston Hughes made off with a 51-31 victory.
Among those leading the charge was Kyla Greene, who scored 15 points along with 8 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of McKayla Taylor, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 13 rebounds.
Langston Hughes' win bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Dutchtown, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-4.
Langston Hughes will head out on the road to face off against Creekside at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Dutchtown, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Eagle's Landing at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
