The Louisa County Lions had to hit the road for their first game and sadly it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They took a 43-24 bruising from Freeman on Tuesday.
Despite the loss, Louisa County had strong showings from Taylor Yeatts, who scored 9 points along with 6 rebounds and 3 steals, and Amara Comfort, who scored 5 points along with 5 rebounds and 3 steals.
Louisa County's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Freeman, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Louisa County will head out on the road to face off against Spotsylvania at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Freeman, they will play host again and welcome Glen Allen, where tip off is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
